2. Submission Categories
• Main Research Articles: Formal scholarly papers aligned with our core domains.
• Short Writing: Original, engaging pieces that do not require a formal research structure but offer intellectual value.
• Reviews: Critical evaluations of books, films, games, or software relevant to the field of English.
• Creative Writing: Original or translated poetry and short stories.
• Discussion: Scholarly commentary on previously published articles, education policies, or significant academic developments.
3. Manuscript Preparation (Main Articles)
Authors must ensure their manuscripts are logically organized and include the following elements:
• Author Profile: Full contact details and a 30-word professional bio written in the third person.
• Abstract & Keywords: A concise summary and 6–7 descriptive keywords.
• Structure: A well-defined Introduction, Body (Methodology/Analysis), and Conclusion.
• Citation Styles:
o Literature: MLA 8th Edition.
o Language Teaching & Communication: APA Style.
4. Peer Review & Ethics
To maintain academic integrity, all submissions undergo a rigorous evaluation process:
• Screening: Initial checks for plagiarism and AI-generated patterns.
• Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts are anonymized and reviewed by experts. Comments are shared with authors for mandatory revisions.
• Timeline: The process is typically completed within one month.
• Authorship: Contributions must be limited to those who participated significantly in the study’s design or execution.
• Editorial Authority: The Editor reserves the right to edit for style or decline submissions based on quality and relevance.
5. Open Access & Copyright

• Copyright: Authors retain full copyright of their work.

As an open-access journal, IJELLS recovers operational costs through a Publishing Fee. This fee is only applicable after a manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process.
• Operational Sustainability: Fees cover infrastructure and formatting. Payment does not guarantee acceptance, nor is publication solely contingent upon the ability to pay.
• Print Edition (Optional):
Authors: ₹2000 for a physical copy of the issue.
Subscribers: ₹2000 annual subscription for hard copies of all quarterly issues.
• Refund Policy: Publication fees are non-refundable once the article is published.
8. Submission Method
Manuscripts should be submitted as email attachments or uploaded via the journal’s official website. Please note that IJELLS does not issue formal acceptance letters or certificates of publication; the appearance of the work in the journal serves as the official record.
